CD117(EP10),RMab
The proto-oncogene c-Kit encodes a transmembrane receptor with tyrosine kinase activity, c-Kit (CD117), which is closely related to the platelet-derived growth factor receptor family. c-Kit plays important roles in hematopoiesis, gametogenesis, and melanogenesis. Expression of the CD117 antigen is of significant importance in the study of gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), small cell lung carcinoma, and melanoma.
