Catenin is a cytoskeletal protein with three subtypes-a, B, and y-that performs two major functions: signal transduction and cell adhesion. It is primarily utilized in research on the mechanisms of metastasis and invasion in various malignant tumors, including but not limited to colorectal cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, esophageal cancer, and breast cancer.
